Overall great, but some oddities.

I have to agree with other reviewers that this isWAY too short in the torso.It seemingly cannot be sent to a commercial laundry since the wearer needs to either hand wash it or machine wash it on delicate...and hand iron it. I didn't expect that.The pockets are great, as is the yoke and theextra fabric on the elbows. The collar points are a tad shorter than I anticipated.

BUTTONS!

BOTH of the small buttons on the collar popped off the first time I washed the shirt. The holes in the buttons were too close together and created one larger hole that popped off the stiching!

Not so great. The plain color XL fits fine, but the patterned shirt is too short and comes untucked. If you've really been in business since 1830, why don't you cut a longer shirt tail?

short in the body

A great shirt before washing. I have washed the shirt 3 times now, and the torso length only allows an inch of the side hem of the shirt to remain tucked in. I usually wear a large tall, but not having that option, selected XL. After washing, the garment sized down to a large, and I really wish there was more length in the torso.

Woolrich Explorer shirts have been a favorite of mine for over 8 years. I buy one or two each year and the first ones I bought still look and wear great. I love the pockets which come in handy while I am piloting my airplane. The shirts fit well, work well and are both neat looking, functional and comfortable. I was paying [$] and have caught them on sale in the off season for [$]. So I find [$] a bit steep, but they really are terrific shirts that both look great and hold up as you would expect them too. I have never been disapponted with one yet. In fact, I have always been satisfied with apparel from Woolrich.

This product is usually worn with casual attire but it is flexible enough to ware occasionally to church or for other activities when I want a shirt that is comfortable and relaxing.

I own 6 of the shirts and I love them. They are great year round (except for the hottest summer days) and are always in style. But, like Mansize from Massachusetts, I find that the shirt tail is too short. It should be about 3" - 5" longer. I am 6'2" and sometimes have difficulty when I bend or stretch with the shirt coming out of the jeans or cargo pants.

Love the Explorer Long Sleeve .......

The Explorer Long Sleeve Pattern is the sharpest looking shirt I've ever seen. I wear that shirt to all the NASCAR races that I go too.They look grate ironed or wrinkled.

I can wear these shirts all year except for the hottest day. In winter, just add long johns. The rest of the year it is worn by itself.

Very nice shirt, but minimal length

I relly like this line of shirts but, for a 2XL, it is really necessary to increase the length not just the width. At 6ft., this shirt is 'just" long enough to tuck in properly (have not washed it yet ! ). Every time you get in / out of the car it is untucked. It really needs to be 3" longer and should be offered in a Tall ( 5" longer ). Compare it to a Wrangler 2XL or 2XLT and you will see a considerable difference. My Wranglers never come untucked.
