Birch Bark

The pieces in the Birch Bark collection resemble the white side of birch bark. They bear the unmistakable "bird wings," which is a dark 'V' design in the bark where a branch had once started. Much like Woolrich has done with their durable and rugged woolen fabrics since its inception in 1830; the birch tree has some incredible defense mechanisms that protect the tree from weather, rain, sun and keeps the moisture in and keeps it out. The resin pieces are accented with a wood base and top held together by a raffia twine strapping.
