I am a tall, slim person with a suitably sized neck. I bought a large which fits in every way except that neck: it is indeed too tight. Not a lot too tight but enough to cause me to begin pulling at it after several hours wear. Re next question: I would inspect my friend's neck first!

I have worn these turtlenecks for more than 10 years and I own over 30 of them. They are the only ones I will wear. I love the tight necks...if it is cold enough to wear a turtleneck (skiing, November Football games, February soccer tournaments and March Collegiate Rowing Regattas) then I want one that will stay up and keep me warm. The reason that I return T-necks made by other companies is always droopy necks. These could be a little longer as some of them have shrunk during drying and tend to come out of my jeans when tucked in leaving me with a cold lower back.

Ordered 3 turtlenecks exactly the same. One was the almost perfect turtleneck, the other two were problematic: necks were puckered, cuffs and necks were a slightly different shade from the body. When i called to ask if I could return the two problem shirts Darlene,the woman I spoke with, went beyond what she would normally do to get me two more of the almost perfect turtles, which had one other distinction, the label printed on the material was in script rather than the block letters of the problem turtles. I am very grateful.

I bought serveral of these. They are exactly what I had been searching for. Fits great. Neck holds shape and is not too loose or tight. Color is crisp. Fabric is thicker for cooler weather, but not too thick. Stitching is tight. Great quality turtleneck. Others I have tried tend to streach out as the day goes on. These don't.

Fast shipping. Product came in soft mailer. This seemed odd at first, but items where individually bagged. Items were clean and in good shape. Just be careful when you open so you don't cut the fabric.

Nice material. Not thin and cheaply made like others I've bought from the other 'outdoor' companies. Comfortable fit. Layers well.

I ordered 5 turtlenecks. The other 4 were superb. This one is horrible. The material is flimsy and definitely NOT 100% cotton. The label is sewn in, not printed on like the others. The cuffa are loose and stretchy, where the others are tight and springy. I don't know what happened, but there's something in the wod pile. But I don't want to return the whole order and wait some more. The color was ecru.

This is exactly the turtleneck I've been looking for! The neck doesn't droop and the sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists. Nice fabric, not too heavy to be bulky and not too thin. The neck is snug without being constricting and I prefer a banded sleeve over hemmed. I'll be purchasing more colors!

I am aware that sizing standards have changed due to our overweight society; but in no universe can this really be an 'XS' size.

I'm pretty small, but the neck opening is much too tight. Other than the neck, the fit is fine. Note that there is a cuff (which I generally do not prefer).

It's terrific to have a turtleneck that fits so well. It's a real turtleneck. The neck doesn't sag. I will definitely order additional ones in other colors.
