I wear this to the office, and as casual wear it looks and feels great. Had to send the first one back (the size I usually wear when ordering from Woolrich was cut too tight), so I returned it for the next size larger and it feels great.

I was taking a chance ordering this vest, being a bit wary with the other reviews and a bit bummed that the darker version was long gone.

However, I was quite pleased all around. I am 215# with a bit of abdominal corpulence ( aka pot belly) and in between a LG &XLG. I ordered the XL. It's a little roomy, but that was with a t-shirt. The color is an olive drab, not a gold wheat. I think it's a great subdued color that will go well with a solid color shirt and jeans or with a casual sport jacket. At the sale price, it was most certainly worth it.
About sizing...if you are in decent shape without the pot, uh, corpulence, I would go with the Large.

Color is described as "dark wheat" and sample in catalog is a khaki color. This is no where near that.... Olive is more like it. Wheat conjures up light brown or even tan. Not so this! Fit, styling, and fabric quality are OK... but the color? Don't believe it! Returned it as fast as I could repack it!

I've got two of these, this model and the updated version that has the plaid lining in the back. This one is a size larger and is more comfortable but when I lose the needed pounds the other will fit better. I've got all the bases covered.:-)
I like buttons better than zippers and this was a plus for me.
I wish it was available in a tall size and I wish it had an inside pocket. Would I buy this one again? No, but I would buy a second updated Eagle Fork as it is the best for everyday use vest I've ever owned.

Love this product. Bought it for myself, I am a female, and woman's vest just aren't like this. They all have the tall collars, and I don't always wear turtle necks or mock tees, and this vest fits the bill to a tee. Wish they did make woman's vest like this, but regardless, the mens fit just fine and with the back tie, you can make this flattering. Woman, just take a size smaller, and you will be good for the go.

I am a vest freak, and have used many different types.This vest is by far my favorite. Simple design,great fit, even for us older men with a little belly. I wear it in the woods and under a sport coat with a tie - a nice rugged look for a man. They are warm enough without being overly heavy or thick.
